Objective
The SAICSA Executive Diploma in Corporate Administration (EDCA) aims to equip participants with comprehensive corporate skills and knowledge in the business and corporate arena.


Structure
The Diploma course is a sixteen (16) months programme comprising eight modules, namely:

• Business Economics
• Human Resource Management
• Business Accounting
• Business Information System Administration
• Business Law
• Corporate Compliance Procedures
• Business Planning
• Business Organisations Management

   

SAICSA Executive Diploma in Corporate Administration (EDCA) is awarded by
The Singapore Association of The Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators (SAICSA).

The qualification will be awarded if the student has passed the EDCA examinations for all the modules.

ACM course is offered on a per module basis. Students are required to sign one contract for each registered module.

• Twelve (12) tutorial lessons per module to be conducted once a week and held in a classroom setting.  

• Duration per module 36 hours.

• Tutorial time: 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm (3-hour per lesson)

• Tutorial: Lessons are held once a week per module.

• Course duration (in months): 16 Months | Course Duration (in weeks): 12 weeks

• Teacher – Student Ratio (Tutorial – Average Size):  1:20

• The tutorial lesson plan has excluded the number of public holidays and ensures that no tutorials will be conducted during public holidays.


Admission Criteria

The minimum admission requirement is as follow:

'A' Level, which must include a credit in English

Students are required to submit the completed registration form together with one photograph and certified true copies of your educational certificates and details results to Chartered Secretaries Institute of Singapore f.k.a SAICSA. Upon acceptance as a student, then you can register for the preparatory courses.

Examination

The examination will be held in April, August and December.

Each module is assessed in a 3-hour written paper.

A student will be notified of the results within 10 weeks after the conclusion of the examination by SAICSA.

The grades of an award are defined in Clause 1.3. of Student Contract.


Fees and Payments


The prevailing Preparatory Course Fee per module is $732.95** (inclusive of 7% GST). This fee includes tutorials and study materials.

Re-sit Course Fee per module is $374.50** (inclusive of 7% GST). This is fee only applicable to students who did not pass a module.

For newly registered students, they have to pay a One-Time (Non-Refundable) Registration Fee of $53.50 (inclusive of 7% GST).

Payment Method: Fee may be paid by CASH / NETS / CHEQUE. Cheque should be made payable to “ACM Pte Ltd”.

Fee payable by instalment plan will be collected via Inter-Bank GIRO (IBG). Please refer to the Fee Structure on the instalment plan.

How to register?

Total module per intake:

Students are allowed to attempt a maximum of two (2) modules as stipulated by SAICSA/CSIS.

Registration:

Submission of registration form in any mode does not imply that a student is registered for the preparatory course.
Registration will be confirmed when the following documents are received by (“ACM”).

Academic Progression

Graduates of the SAICSA Executive Diploma in Corporate Administration may apply for admission to the ICSA International Qualifying Scheme (IQS).
